Journey to success

The road to success is a journey and a hard one at that. Some never find while others won’t stop till they get there. Though many people have different definitions of what success really is.

Interviewer: What is your definition of success?

Justin: Anyone that is happy with their life regardless of their job or income.

Interviewer: Do you feel that you are successful?

Justin: Yes and no. I’m not all that happy with my current job. But I have done a lot in my life that I am very proud of. I have two great kids and lots of love in my life. So over all I’m happy with my life and that makes me feel successful.

Interviewer: What do you do for a living?

Justin: I am retired Air Force and now working for Coca-Cola.

Interviewer: If you could change jobs would you and why?

Justin: Yes I would, because there really isn’t much room for advancement.

Interviewer: Do you feel that your work is just a job or that it is something you like to do and just happen to get paid for it?

Justin: I feel that it is just a job. But there are two things that I do enjoy. I have met a lot of good people that also work in the industry. My job is also a physically demanding one so it keeps me in good health.

Interviewer: If your job is just a job, how do you plan to get where you want to be?

Justin: Keep a good attitude about life, work hard, always keep an open mind, and keep looking for something better.

Interviewer: Do you travel, if so out of all the places you have been which one is your favorite?

Justin: I don’t travel for my current job. But I traveled all over the word before I retired from the Air Force. My two favorite places were Alaska and Guam.

Interviewer: What do you do in your free time?

Justin: I enjoy wood working and yard work.

Interviewer: What advice would you give to someone who wants to be successful?

Justin: You should always work hard at whatever you are doing and go to school if you can. But above all else try and be happy with your life.

Interviewer: What kinds of people inspire you?

Justin: Hard working and those that make the best of the life they have.

Interviewer: If you were given five hundred dollars right now and could only use it to help someone other than yourself, how would you use it?

Justin: I would use it to help someone close to me that is in need of a little help.

As Justin Nelson said work hard and be happy is the way to success. I hope you can get to were you want to be in life with that hard work and happiness.

Stay inspired,
